Review Underground Scene Report (Nl)
First demo from this German band, that unfolds a strong identity and musical maturity on it’s four songs. The particular sound is to be called very much their own, in fact, I’ve never heard such a thing like it. Not that it’s that innovative and exceptional or something; it’s just very original, but then again familiar in some way. You might say it’s sorta musical concept that has everything to do with the mind, and so it also sounds all in a mysterious manner; spatial with acoustics, folk-ish tunes ("Mindtrip"), strings and orchestral/classical background accompaniment. It’s like a dreamstate; fluctuating & harmonies, somewhat Ballad-type with reduced distortion and sonourous vocals poured into sphereish songs. In a way it is Metal, but then in a most melodical, harmonious manner with some heavier passages put infor good measure. This is one neat tape; musical & packaging wise with stock equipped pro-production.
